2 Nominations for the 2024 India Catalina Awards
The fictional miniseries “We The Fallen,” produced by Éxodo and distributed by Fahrenheit, has been nominated for the 2024 India Catalina Awards for Best Fiction Miniseries. Additionally, the documentary series “Hijas de la Luna,” a co-production between Fahrenheit and Señal Colombia, has also been nominated for Best Social Inclusion Production.

“We The Fallen” is directed and written by David Herrera, in collaboration with Yvonne Bermúdez, and features a cast including Marleyda Soto, Germán de Greiff, Valeria Galviz, Carlos Quintero, and Katherine Herrera. The series takes us to 1971 in Cali, Colombia, during the Pan American Games, a time when student protests were brutally suppressed by the state.
“Daughters of the Moon” also nominated for the India Catalina Awards, tells the story of three indigenous women fighting against machismo and gender violence in their territories. Each episode offers a unique perspective on these women’s lives, highlighting their ancestral traditions and the strength with which they face adversity. The series is a moving testament to resilience and female leadership in hostile contexts.

The 2024 India Catalina Awards, in its 40th edition, will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2024, as part of the Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI).
